I use Helix Editor because of the project’s policy of minimalism in implementing core features and also because I like Rust. I’ve used Neovim in the past but ultimately wasn’t satisfied with the plugin dependency soup.
OS
I like NixOS because I can declare systems exactly how I want, reuse software components, and worry less about losing any material possessions! For gaming, I use a system running Bazzite.
Terminal
Kitty but Alacritty is nice too.
Web browser
Heavily configured Firefox.
Proton Mail and Thunderbird. I am currently looking for an alternative solution.
